The Shehecheyanu:  Prayer of Gratitude

The central purpose of any synagogue is the development of Jewish spirituality. Here at Congregation Ocean Reef, we believe we best serve G-d through a pluralistic approach to worship, allowing for the personal experience of prayer to coexist alongside a welcoming spiritual environment.

Beginning in the 2023-24 season we will celebrate Shabbat together each Friday evening at 6 pm in the Cornerstone Room.   We will share in an abbreviated service to welcome Shabbat, light candles and offer blessings, say Kaddish, recognize a yahrzeit, and Mishabeirach.

Once a month we welcome visiting Clergy to preside over a full service in the main sanctuary, also at 6 pm.  This service will be followed by a Shabbat dinner for all who wish to attend, held at Carysfort Patio.  All are welcome for Shabbat but we need your RSVP for dinner.  The following Saturday morning we welcome you back to the Fellowship Hall at 9:30 am for a study session led by our clergy.
