Michael Rappaport is President of Homespire Mortgage, a national retail mortgage lender.  Before starting Homespire Mortgage in 2000, Michael founded Finance America, a nationwide home lender later purchased by the investment banking firm Lehman Brothers.  Michael has served on the foundation board of Shady Grove Adventist Hospital, House of Ruth and S.O.M.E.  Michael graduated in 1987 from the American University with a B.S. in finance and real estate.
